What is KOKS?
KOKS is the acronym for Know Our Kingdom Songs. It is a Gospel Singing Competition that centers exclusively on one genre of music—LoveWorld Songs. As we approach the rapture of the Church, it is essential to offer genuine praise to our Lord. The Lord Jesus stated, “For God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24, New Living Translation).
Over the past few years, Our Man of God, Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome (DSc. DSc. DD.) has led the Church to become conscious of what the Lord requires and how we ought to offer praise to Him using the fruits of our lips and by extension, being conscious of the lyrics of the songs we sing. As a result, over 300 new LoveWorld songs have been released in the last four years which were carefully scrutinized by the Man of God. The body of Christ is blessed with these new songs to sing to our Lord, personally or in corporate gatherings.
Purpose of KOKS
To promote the knowledge and use of these new songs across different local assemblies in the Body of Christ, the Highly Esteemed Pastor Uche Uwadione, the Group Pastor of Christ Embassy Afromedia Group, decided to initiate KOKS as a campaign to raise the awareness of the LoveWorld songs, and also to encourage singers. Through this movement, it is anticipated that many more people would recognize our kingdom songs, know the lyrics, sing them, and offer true praise to our King and Maker.
Who can Participate?
Are you a Christian and you can sing? KOKS is for you. All you have to do is to register to be a part of this Gospel Competition and you will be on your way to something really BIG!
