How it Started.
As an organization, Lambano TV is poised to be a blessing to its immediate community and the global audience at large. With this mindset, the organization commenced a show that aims at rewarding the winning with a whooping 500 Thousand Naira.
All that was necessary for participants was the willingness to participate and showcase a talent at any of the scheduled location. The auditions were held outside in the streets and large crowds gathered to witness people perform various arts and showcased their skills. Some of the talents performed at the street auditions include:
- Singing
- Dancing
- Drawing
- Comedy
- Dance-Drama
- and different shades of the above
Selection Process of the Lambano Talent Hunt
The selection process to move to the next round of the show was quite simple. For each street audition, three judges were appointed to carefully observe each performance and rate the participant based on selected criteria including native talent, confidence, stage handling, audience response and many others. At the end, a total was calculated. Since there were three judges, an average score was used to rank the contestants and the top performers were awarded a GOLDEN TICKET to move into the next round of the show.
Three major Street Auditions took place. The first at Abule-Era, the second at Salami Market, and the third was conducted at Abule-Era again. All the three locations were within the vicinity of the Corporate Office of Lambano TV and prior to the auditions, publicity and awareness materials were pasted and distributed to increase the reach and give everyone the opportunity to be the first winner of the Lambano Talent Hunt.
